Queenpin - Megan Abbott

Honestly, I only read this book (or attempted to read it) because it was a Q book. I am trying to read books beginning with each letter of the alphabet. This was obviously a Q book and it just so happens it is also the wife of Joshua Gaylord (Hummingbirds). I couldn't go through with the whole book. I guess it is not my kinds of reading. It had a lot of gambling and sex appeal but that's not what I read. I gave it 2/5 stars and kind of felt guilty about it especially since I didn't finish it but I had to rate why I didn't finish it, right? She won a lot of awards for her writing but as I said it's not for me. If you like these kinds of stories then by all means it is probably for you.
